Dreamscaper is a surreal, roguelite inspired action RPG with modernized hack’n’slash combat – players battle a nightmarish depression that lives in a young woman’s subconscious.

In Dreamscaper, you play as Cassidy, who every night must fight off her nightmare of deep depression to see a new day. Developed by indie studio Afterburner Studios, it has used the backdrop of focusing on an emotional through-line confronting depression and mental health.

Dreamscaper revolves around the Dreaming world, where you confront Nightmares and Explore the Dreamscape, and the Wake World, where you will Build Relationships, Unlock more of the Story and Increase your Powers. Each time Cassidy falls into the Dream World, she will find a different dungeon that must be unlocked along with new powers.
